All of my little girl fantasies came true on September 1, 2008.

I had the dress of my dreams, the man of my dreams, and the wedding of my dreams. It was even better than I had imagined it, being surrounded by those who I love most and who love me most. 2008 Getting the phone call from the WMA organizers I was so surprised; I thought maybe my husband had put one of our friends up to do a practical joke on me because he knew how nervous I was about it. I couldn’t believe that I was actually being recognized by the World Music Awards alongside such big names as Beyonce.
